Group Classes

Move, Learn, and Grow Together

What to Expect

Group classes combine guided movement with simple explorations designed to help you sense your habits, patterns, and possibilities for change.

Classes are welcoming to all levels of physical ability and place the emphasis on awareness, comfort, and choice rather than performance.

Why Group Learning Works

Group learning offers the chance to hear how others describe their experiences, intentions, challenges, and discoveries. Often, you recognize elements of your own process in what someone else shares. This creates insight, resonance, and new ways of understanding yourself that are difficult to access alone.

People often Experience:

  • Greater awareness of movement and posture
  • Reduced tension and a clearer awareness of where you’re using effort you don’t need.
  • Improved coordination, balance, and mobility
  • Increased calm, focus and emotional steadiness
  • A sense of connection through shared insight

Types of Group Offerings

Group classes are offered in 3–8 week series throughout the year, each with a specific theme.

Offerings may include:

  • Awareness Through Movement® Classes
  • Mindful Movement Series
  • Relational Awareness Workshops
  • Seasonal Intensives or Retreats
Starting Feb. 2

Seeing, Sensing, Moving

Seeing, Sensing, Moving is a six-week Awareness Through Movement® series exploring the relationship between vision, sensation, and movement.

Through guided, gentle movement lessons, we will explore how the eyes participate in organizing posture, balance, and action.

The series begins with broader, whole-body movements that include the eyes, and gradually moves toward more subtle explorations of looking and seeing.

As attention becomes more refined, participants often discover new options for moving with greater ease, clarity, and choice — not by trying to change, but by noticing differences.

Lessons are done slowly and comfortably, with options to rest at any time. No prior experience is necessary.
